Paisley is looking for a home at no fault of her own. Her family moved and they feel she needs more space to be active and playful like the puppy she is. She is a sweet 10 month old mixed pitbull terrier, medium sized, with white socks, who we've had the pleasure of watching grow up. She is mild tempered and sweet as can be and loves to play with other dogs. Paisley loves to sunbathe for hours outside or cuddle up next to you. On top of that, she does great with children, cats, and even chickens! Give her a rope, a bone, or any soft toy and she will be the happiest dog around. She is crate trained and potty trained and her favorite hobby is eating. She does great on a leash and does not pull either. Please help us find this sweet girl a new home. You will fall in love with her tall pointed bat ears and forever big puppy dog eyes.

Don't let Benny's scruffy look fool you. He is the biggest gentleman around. Despite being found at a feeding station and testing positive for FIV, he is the happiest old man. Benny loves to love- constantly giving head butts, asking for pets and belly rubs, and kneading anything he can get his paws into. He is curious, outgoing and friendly. Benny uses his litter box and always eats all his food. Give this senior boy the best life he can live! He certainly deserves it.

Honey is the definition of a lap dog. She is easy going and comfortable watching the day go by with you. She is timid initially and gets easily frightened, but she does well with other dogs of all sizes, chickens, and cats. Honey would not do well with young children as sudden movements and being grabbed abruptly scare her. She will follow you around the house. Honey is highly treat motivated and is learning crate training and potty training so far. She does still have accidents inside and she gets taken out every couple of hours. In the car she will sleep in the crate. She needs to be secured or else she will try to crawl on you while driving. In terms of toys, she loves to chew on bones and small soft toys. One of her ears flops in the most adorable way and she loves to look at you with her big puppy dog eyes and give you kisses on the face. She is very quiet except when scared she will yelp. Ultimately she would do well with a peaceful homebody or family with older children. With her size she is easy to control on the leash and curious of her outdoor surroundings.

Another poor kitten found in a garbage can. Thankfully, a women found him and gave him to me. We cleaned him up and fed him well. Thankfully, the AFRP was able to take him into their program where he will be vetted and adopted out through their organization. He is approximately 8 weeks old, loves to eat and is incredibly playful!

I was recently informed a stray cat gave birth under someone's porch. The woman who found them is asking for help finding homes for them. They have not been vet checked, but are reported to be in good general health, playful, eating solid food, and using their litter boxes regularly. They are approximately 8 weeks old and there are 5 black males available.

Muñeca is an owner surrender. She is looking for a new home at no fault of her own. She is microchipped and is up to date on all her vaccines. She is a very playful dog, likes to go out for walks, and is good with kids. She is dog friendly and would do best in an active household that can give her the attention and exercise she needs. 

Stitch is timid and skittish, but will never say no to an opportunity for scratches in your lap or a good brushing. Once you win her over, your lap will be her safe zone. Stitch is on the skinnier side, but will be at her full figure in no time. She has been bathed and given flea and tick medication and gets along well with the other cats. She has not been vet checked. 

She is a gentle and quiet little mouse. At first, she is shy in new surroundings and prefers to hide, but once comfortable around you, her favorite place to be is on your lap or curled up in a ball behind you. Shadow is the definition of a lap cat. She comes to you when her name is called and perks up and comes out immediately to the sound of a wet cat food can opening. Shadow loves people but is skittish to loud noises. She travels well in the car. Shadow is submissive towards other cats and when scared prefers to lay low and hide. She has chronic left eye drainage and is FIV +. Shadow has been vet checked and is up to date on her vaccines. She is currently on vitamins and lysine for her immune system. She has not yet been neutered.

A woman came up to me and asked "are you the cat lady?" Yes - and proud of it. A kitten popped up from her hood, sleepy eyes just opening. A 15 minute conversation later, tears in her eyes, she surrendered the kitten to me to find him a better home. She found him in a garbage can in Salinas and bottle fed him until he became strong and healthy. He stayed in a household with 2 other cats and birds but unfortunately was bullied by the other cats. He is very friendly, constantly purring, loves to explore, perch on your shoulder, or sleep in your hood. He must have learned that from the birds.
