AM I READY TO ADOPT?

Adopting any pet is a huge responsibility and privilege. â€‹Here are some questions to ask yourself:

  • Will your pets get along with a new pet?

  • Is your home suitable for your pet?

  • Will you work or social life interfere too much with the time you are able to spend with your pet?

  • Where will you keep your pet when you are away, travel, or in case of emergencies?

  • Is everyone in your home in agreement or compatible with the new pet?

  • Does anyone have allergies or health issues which might worsen with a new pet?

  • What size would best fit your home?

  • Who will take care of the pet?
