These dogs and cats have found their forever homes through ISA Animal Rescue. These success stories show us how precious rescuing an animal can be and are a reminder of how many are out there to love and be loved by! We encourage you to share your story with us and how your life has changed with your new family member.

Gizmo and Lennie
My latest addition to the animal rescue is a small human animal trap. While attempting to catch a pregnant cat, I accidentally caught two twin kittens! Well, I caught a third sibling but they made a grand escape out of the carrier. The two kittens were sweet, but shy. One was much more timid than the other. After being caught, her sister stayed close-by, lounging and sniffing curiously near the trap. Once I obtained a carrier to put one of the kittens in, I set up the trap for the more outgoing sister. Soon enough, I had two healthy kittens in my arms. At this point, our household consisted of 6 cats and 4 dogs. We kept the kittens separate in the garage for health reasons. They were so bonded with each other, constantly in each other’s arms for comfort. Thankfully, I have a wonderful friend in Oakland who adopt them together and I couldn’t be happier to know they are in such good hands. Happy ends, three adoptions in one day, ISA Animal Rescue coming together much sooner than expected.

Max
Max is a boss, a Viking king, who demands attention, constantly loves, and made himself at home like it was nothing. A lovely family from Aptos submitted an application and the bond between them and Max was immediate. Max loved the attention and did great with the kids. There was no question that he was home. Goodbye Max, the gentle giant.
